Meet the Rowe Family
Four relatives, four Bates alumni -- meet the family of Harry Willison Rowe, Bates's first Dean of Faculty. Harry and his wife, Hope, were Lewiston residents for over 50 years. Sometime after they passed, a collection of clothing belonging to Hope and her daughters, Ruth and Esther, were donated to the College by Valentine Wilson -- Ruth's husband, and a former president of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York.
